misadventure 1: test. one of the questions, i previously saw a new formula relating to that question in a tutorial, and my friend told me to include that formula in the helpsheet, in case a similar question shows up. well, it did, but i did NOT have the formula on the helpsheet; i forgot to do that. another question, i did have the formula needed on the helpsheet this time, but due to being panicky, i couldn't find the formula within the test hour; only found it after the test. double combo, grrr!

misadventure 2: helped some friends to buy 6 tix for a movie the next day. only after leaving the box office for 5 minutes, when upon double-checking, i realized that the tix were for today, not the next day! i ran back to the box office, whereupon consultation with the manager (by the ticketing staff), i managed to get the tix swapped to the correct day. then another blow came when the venue was wrong this time. by that point, i decided to tell my friends the venue will be swapped, to avoid a potential uproar with the ticketing staff.

misadventure 3: watching L: change the world, which was an absolutely dismal movie. more on that tomorrow.
