Since No Country for Old Men won the Best Picture award at the recent Oscars (plus I've become a movie freak lately) I absolutely had to catch the show. The story revolves about the main character finding big money in the aftermath of a drug deal gone wrong, and a psychopath hunting him down, killing most of the people (with a crazy weapon, done in oh-my-that-was-vicious ways) he meets along the way. A big time thriller, with many suspenseful cat-and-mouse scenes, coupled with magnificent backdrop shots. It was a really worthy show until the last 30 min or so... where the focus of the show and the ending (the cat-and-mouse chase was not the focus of the show, it turns out, after I consulted online reviews upon reaching home) left me baffled. But its really a one of its kind show.
Speaking of old men, i saw this uncle at a bus stop who started saying something to a young lady standing near him. when the lady said 'huh', the uncle replied 'sweet girl'. I was like, oh boy, they don't know each other and he's picking up on her. He tried to strike a conversation, and the girl, seemingly lost for direction, asked for bus routes. She started to shift her attention away after a short while, and after the uncle invited her to sit beside him, the girl started to get wary and moved to the opposite side of the bus stop. As she walked away, i saw the uncle completely leering at her, kinda scanning her from up to down. Then when a particular bus came, he actually got on the same bus as after her... man i hope nothing bad happens there .
