Transformers 2, the mega blockbuster of the season is just so... disappointing. Sure, all the transforming is still just so cool, but there seemed to be too many transformers around this time; to the point the good guys and bad guys can't really be differentiated. But the major gripe i have with the film is with the oh-so-cliched and fairy tale like plot - main character stumbles upon and tries to decipher some hidden codes; then embark on quest to find some items; main character gets knocked out, then goes into dream like sequence, awakens with something special (literally, in his hands); main fighter gets an unbelievable upgrade near the end of the show which allows total demolition of all foes... and so on. The 1st transformers was so much better.
