Arrggh! Liverpool smashed Chelsea's magnificent 86 game unbeaten home record, which stretched back to over 4 years. Watching the game live was certainly nerve wracking, with Liverpool thumping the post also as Chelsea barely created any decent chances. And imagine watching the match with a friend who is an ardent supporter of ... Liverpool. Bleh.

today's supposedly the final day of the boggle contest, so I told my sis to submit the answer (newbie), but a minute later she called back and said the internet connection was giving problems. So my answer was kinda delayed. And when the answer was revealed... it was the word that i had submitted. again. for the 3rd time in a row. duh.

this time, i was full on ready for the contest. After a couple minutes, i found a six letter word... borneo, though it was actually a place, so my sis told me to hold my horses since a place name was probably not allowed, and search for another 6 letter word. minutes passed and i still had not found another word, so she submitted the answer anyway. then the answer was revealed... borneo. ouch

My sis introduced me to this boggle contest on 987FM, streamed live over the internet. The prize was a DVD player, and all contestants had to do was to find the longest word in the boggle field, and be the fastest to submit a word of the maximum length. I had a go and found a six letter word, thermo (im not sure if thermo is actually a proper English word by itself though, since blogger is now underlining this word with a red line). no wait, add a S and it becomes 7 letters, thermos. submit. since my sis told me that the longest word found on the previous day was only 4 letters, i felt pretty good about my chances. Then when the call was put through to the fastest contestant (not me), the answer was revealed as... thermos. arggh! i wasn't the fastest!

F1- Alonso has clinched his second successive victory, though these victories have probably come too little too late. And wow what a 360 degrees spin out by Hamilton after he rubbed against Massa's car, causing Hamilton to wait for the entire flurry of cars to pass him as he sat idle facing the wrong direction on the race track. A comical scene next as the Ferrari guys pump their fists in the air, displaying jubilation at Hamilton possibly getting no points in the race, which duly happened. (I just caught the brief highlights on news though, no telecast on free to air tv). The final 2 races in China and Brazil should be really exciting, as Hamilton now has just a measly 5 point lead over second placed Massa, with Kubica sneaking up on the top 2. Really starting to enjoy F1!

Finally can get to working on my projects, after the flurry of mid term tests, and thoroughly enjoying myself over the weekend with prison break 4, heroes 3 and the new anime season. But i take a count of my projects, and gosh there are 4 out of five modules im taking now that has projects, which is more than the number of mid term tests that i had. Busy days ahead.

Spent hours yesterday writing up help sheets, my finger is really feeling sore, and my hand is feeling very tired. That's the price for having 2 help sheet tests in a week, and writing out in teeny-weeny-barely-font-size-6 scribblings on the help sheets. Also had to forego this converse warehouse sale cos of the tests! grrgh!

o, d gray man anime series has ended its run due to it catching up with the manga series. Man, just as it was on the defining arc of the series(just as exciting as the rescue sasuke arc in naruto, and rescue rukia arc in bleach). Well hope it makes it return say in a couple years time. On the brighter side the new anime season is starting next week, wooz!
