Went for interview at government Department of Statistics today.
1) Three interviewers plus a secretary. Upon taking my seat, I watched them, they watched me for like 10 seconds... then the secretary said that i could actually start introducing myself. Ouch.
2) I only introduced myself briefly in a few sentences, because i believed that they would then follow up with questions like strengths weakness etc. They didn't, which means they know barely anything about me.
3) Prior to the interview i was given a list of departments to work in eg economics, business, demographics, which my friend had told me about beforehand. I saw population, demographics, and i was like hey that sounds interesting, and i ranked it 1st. Economics 2nd and so on. When the interviewer asked me what i knew about demographics, i was like... uhh... 2 sentences and that was it. The twist is that i should have put economics as first choice: i took an economics module this semester, and was quite versed with the basic principles of economics was because i already studied a fair bit of it for my coming exam... arrggghh!

Goodbye to school! 3 years gone just like that! I rem when i 1st went got admitted into nus, i was like #^%* buona vista, so far from home! And rem getting a mp3, thumbdrive, new bag, many new clothes... Then recklessly taking modules in my very first semester... Starting out on my own basically cos most of my main circle of friends went to ntu... Enjoyed most elective modules, especially the languages. Also got to know pretty gals (though sadly not hooking up with any), loved chilling out at the computer labs whenever there was a break, rushed many projects at the last min... That's all part of student life... Gonna miss being a student, Aww!!!

2 more days of school... For the past week, each time i did something in school, i'd be like 'ok this is the final time we're eating in this canteen' or 'final ride on the school shuttle bus'. Man... now that its really a very bittersweet feeling. Signals the end of school life... and all the pretty gals of course.

Tampines 1 opened today wooz!!! I read about this indoor swimming pool, and on my way to school in the morning i searched all 6 floors... to no avail, boo. The rooftop where all the generators was open to the public, for who knows what reason. And since this centre employs a zonal shop layout, meaning sports apparel shops are located in the same area etc. Which leads to the 3 telecom giants (red, orange and green) side by side. Nice.
With the opening of this new mall, here's what the 3 malls side-by-side have to offer:
Computer: Challenger, Cyberactive
Supermarket: NTUC Fairprice, Shop and Save, Cold Storage.
Books: Popular, Times
Fast food: Mac, kfc, burger king, long john silver, mos burger, carl's jr, pizza hut, subway, yoshinoya (ok last two not exactly fast food)
Eateries: Din Tai Fung, Swensen, Fish & Co., Thai Express, Han's, Jack's place, Sakae Sushi, Seoul Garden, pastamania, Delifrance, Cafe Cartel, soup restaurant, plus 3 foodcourts
Electronics/household appliances: Best Denki, Courts, Mayer, Sony Style
Sports apparel: World of Sports, FILA, Puma, Adidas, Royal Sporting House, Converse
Fashion: Hang Ten, Giodarno, G2000, Bossini, Bossini Style (what's the diff?), S & K, Lee Cooper, Timberland, Mango, DMK, Levi's, Springfield, Topman, Topshop, Veeko, Uniqlo

Caught another movie yet again. Shinjuku Incident, featuring Jackie Chan. Story was interesting for the 1st part, culminating in Jackie Chan becoming somewhat of a triad leader... then came the 2nd half, which was kinda draggy and not much exciting. Quite disappointing overall though, and abit too gory for my liking. Almost no stunts at all form the action man, and hardly any laugh-out-loud moments, plus a lack of a major plot twist which i expected from this movie. Boo.
