the sitex fair at expo is just so big, seemed like an electronic wet market. had a hard time finding any store that i previously visited just moments ago. competitors were blaring horns, blowing whistles and simple trying to out-shout each other.
And why was i there? Was aiming to buy a mouse... for my neighbors' cat. Ok not funny.

2012 is just so big and epic. Powerhouse special effects, super crazy scenes throughout the movie... guess i'm a sucker for disaster movies... though a main flaw was the inclusion of the well-overused cliche where the protagonists always escape disaster by mere seconds/centimeters. And that 'engine start' scene was just so hilarious. Went to wiki the movie, turns out this 2012 Mayan prophecy is real and not just a random movie plot. Wow.

Woohooz! Against the odds and the home support of Thais, Singapore won 1-0 in the reverse fixture in Thailand to propel into second spot again in the Asian Cup qualifiers! Go Lions go go go !

Singapore vs Thailand! 1st live soccer match on tv for me in a fairly long time... Singapore did ok but guess the Thai players were too speedy for our guys. And the Thai fans seemed much more rowdy and supportive than the subdued local supporters. For the record the Lions lost 1-3. Ouch.

Surely Abu Dhabi has taken over Singapore's position as cream of the F1 calendar crop. A fresh day into night race, coupled with spectacular views that rival if not surpass our very own (squeezy and no-you-can't-really-overtake-anywhere). Whatever new upcoming circuit will surely find it hard to top that... Unless of course it's a night into day race...
